Dahon Partners as the Official Folding Bike of the 2008
Bicycle Film Festival
Seizes Opportunity to Maximize Urban Demographic

New York, New York - May 31, 2008 - - Dahon bicycles, a world
leader in folding bicycle technology, has partnered with the 8th
Annual Bicycle Film Festival as the official folding bike of the
North American stops of the global tour.
The Bicycle Film Festival has kicked off this weekend with an
explosive celebration of the bicycle through video, music, an art
show, a street party and of course numerous movie showings featuring
the diverse culture of cycling.
Perfect Demographic

"The people that attend the
Bicycle Film Festival are Dahon people," states Steve Cuomo, from
Dahon Marketing. "And New York City is the ultimate place for us to
kick off this relationship, as people who live here buy quality
products, yet have limited storage space. The BFF is a great way to
reach them."
The 2008 Festival continues today with a Street Party featuring
bicycle related games and contests, ending in the "Bike Beauty
Contest" who's winner will receive a brand-new Dahon 26" folding
Cadenza 8. (View it at www.dahon.com)
Get Ready for a Bicycle Party!

"It's great that a bike
company figured out that the Bicycle Film Festival is right for
them," says Brendt Barbur, Founder of the BFF. "Over 100,000 riders
attend the festival throughout the year, and they are people that
buy their bikes and accessories at retail and influence their
friends to do the same. We can't wait for the rest of the industry
to catch on to what we have going on here..."
Companies that don't want to miss brand association with
subsequent events around the country and globe should contact Steve
Boehmke at 714.633.9955 to discuss further partnership
opportunities.
About the Bicycle Film Festival
The Bicycle Film Festival celebrates all styles of bikes and
biking. You name it -Tall Bike Jousting, Track Bikes, BMX, Alleycats,
Critical Mass, Bike Polo, Cycling to Recumbents - we've either
ridden or screened it. What better way to celebrate these lifestyles
than through art, film, music and performance? We bring together all
aspects of bicycling together to advocate its ability to transport
us in many ways. Ultimately the Fest is about having a good time.
We have been fortunate enough to include works of established
artists such as Jorgen Leth, Mike Mills, Jonas Mekas, Blonde
Redhead, Swoon and Michel Gondry among others as part of our
programming. Many of the artists who have participated in the Bike
Film Fest such as Nick Golebiewski, the Neistat Brothers and Lucas
Brunelle are gaining more and more re-cognition for their work. Sign
up for the email list or just come out and enjoy our 8th Annual
Bicycle Film Festival.
