Iron Horse Italia
srl is proud to announce its roster
of italian riders who will be racing
the upcoming World Championships,
which will be held in Val di Sole on
june 15th-22nd, on Iron Horse bikes.
The riders will be: italian DH champion Alan
Beggin (Team Mapei), italian DH and 4X champion Elisa Canepa
(Iron Horse - Kenda - Playbiker), hew two team mates Luca
Bertocchi and Lorenzo Suding (Iron Horse - Kenda - Playbiker)
and junior rider Edoardo Franco (U.C. Vallée d'Aoste).
Alan will lead the Italian National Team on
a course he knows well and which has given him great joys,
such as his first national champion jersey when he was only
16 years old. Elisa - the sole girl in the Italian National
Team - will be racing both in 4X and downhill, as she is
doing for the whole World Cup season. A good result is also
expected from Lorenzo Suding, highly capable to shine on
important occasions. Completing the roster of italian Iron
Horse riders are Luca and Edo, who, galvanized by their
selection for the National Team, will certainly have an
exciting race.
The five riders will use the wonderful and
awesomely performing Sunday, the bike that has dominated the
World Cup and World Championship in the last years, and also
winner of the 2007 italian national championships in both
male and female fields. Elisa will also sprint out of the
gate of the 4X on her Mk III with its beautiful blue colour,
the same of the Italian National jersey.
At the Worlds in Val di Sole Iron Horse will
actually be the most represented brand for gravity racing
under the Italian National Team's tent, so there's not much
else do but wish all italian riders who will be competing in
this event our best luck with a traditional "Forza Azzurri!".
