Is KENDA's puncture resistant aramid fabric material that wraps the casing from bead to bead.   L3R, the predecessor to L3R PRO is a lightweight, low rolling resistance rubber compound.
 
Originally developed for our motorcycle tires, CAP PLY is puncture resistant material designed to prevent pinch flats.   Developed by KENDA's R&D Department, L3R PRO offers longer tead life, less rolling resistance and better grip.
